This page is put out by the Japan Meteorological Association. From it, you can find links to other useful weather information.
- Weather Underground's Kumamoto forecast
This site shows tempuratures in both Fahrenheit and Centigrade and it is updated with local information very frequently. I'm not sure why but the forecasts differ slightly from those put out by the Japan Meteorological Association. I prefer the Japan Meteorological Association site but this might be another option.
- The Weather Channel's Kumamoto forecast
The 10-day forecast on this site provides a UV index rating. If you click on a specific day you can get an hour-by-hour forecast.
- Yanmar Weather Site
This site is in Japanese but the weather maps don't require software that can handle Japanese. They give a good overview of the weather situation for the Kyushu area. You can click on specific regions to get more exact information (predicted temperatures, wind direction and speed, chance of precipitation, etc.).

This site is also in Japanese but the graphics (and some notes I've put below) make it accessible to viewers who do not have Japanese-compatible software and/or who cannot read Japanese.

The first column shows today's weather and the second tomorrow's.
