Trip to Kikuchi and Aso
Here are some of our trip to the Aso area (September 21, 1991). The weather was ideal. I think it was a memorable day for all involved. I hope to do something similar next year.
- A group shot in the Kikuchi Gorge
Though not at its peak, the fall colors and the nice weath made the visit to the gorge a real treat.
- A smaller group at Daikanbo
This picture shows Therese, Ai, Ayumi, (I don't know the name of the next person; if someone tells me I'll fix this page), Hiromi, Chisato, and Kathy (with my son Leon in front).
- Eddie showing his juggling skills
As I recall, Eddie used his right foot to catch the orange that appears to be falling while he continued to juggle the other four oranges. It was an amazing display!
- Leon Masden riding a tiny bike
This shot was taken at Ikoinomura. Leon was not the only one who enjoyed playing here. By the way, Leon was actually able to ride this bike; I just didn't catch him at the right time with this picture.
- Mariko and Leon Masden in front of the volcano
The gas was fairly strong (lots of us were coughing) but we had a great view of the caldera.
- Chisato, Dave, Hiromi, Rachel, and Kathy
The lighting isn't ideal but at least everyone is recognizable.
