This story is more than 1000 years ago. A girl lived on the banks of a river in a small country. Her name is Lizzie and she was four years old. She loved reading books and spending time alone. She grew up to be a cheerful girl loved by her parents.
One day, when she was taking a walk, a rabbit lay on the road. At first glance it was a very beautiful rabbit, but when she approached and looked closely, a rabit was injured. She asked a rabbit, “Are you okay?” Then a rabbit said, “Please help me.” She was very surprised because a rabbit spoke. Soon she took a rabbit home and took it to a warm fireplace to treat. She continued to take care of the rabbit for days until it recovered. It gradually regained its energy. A rabbit said to her with a smile. “Thank you very much. I will never forget your gratitude.” She also smiled and said to the rabbit. “I hope we can meet again someday.”
A few years later, she became an elementary school student. She was a girl who was kind to everyone. However, there were several girls who hated her. They always ignored her and even threw a lot of things at her. For example, slippers, scissors and pencil case. At first she ignored them, but gradually she became painful.
One day when such days continued, a boy moved into her school. His name was Leo and he had beautiful blue eyes. When she saw him, she felt nostalgic. He smiled gently when he met her. He was very popular with the girls who were bullying her but he responded coldly to them. He treated her only kindly and always talked to her. They were jealous and bullied her more and more. One day after school, they called her to an empty gymnasium. They said to her with an angry look. “I can't allow you to get along with him.” She said in a frightened voice. “What should I do?” They poured a bucket of water on her. She kept crying. Then, a boy appeared from a distance. He was Leo. He gently wiped her tears and stared at them. He said “I can't allow her to be teased. It's bad to tease people. Someday, bad things will come to you.” They ran away without saying anything. He said her, “All right? Do you remember me?” She was surprised because she knew who he was. She said, “Are you a rabbit that helped you a long time ago?” He said with a smile, “Yes! Thank you for your help at that time. I became a human to help you.” She and he smiled at each other.
From the next day the girls who bullied her stopped coming to school because they were scolded by their teacher. When she got home, a letter was written. It was from Leo. He said in the letter, “I'm really glad to meet you. Your life may not be all fun but there is one thing to keep in mind. It's always about interacting with people with a kind heart. Someday that kind heart will help me.” She learned that what she did to someone, good and bad, always came back to her. He disappeared before she knew it, leaving a letter. She searched for him but never met him again but she was stronger than before she met him because I felt he was watching her gently from a distance.
When she was 20, she got married and had a cheerful boy. She named him Leo. He looked up at her and smiled gently.
