It is argued that cat's extraordinary flexibility is to be liquid. This essay completely agrees with that statement. Cats have the property of wanting to fit in tight spaces. You've probably seen pictures of cats that fit perfectly in vases, bowls, boxes, and so on. Cats are extremely flexible and have soft joints, muscles, and ligaments that allow them to pass through smaller spaces than their own bodies or fit into smaller containers. I believe that cats are liquids based on the definition of the three states of matter, the field of rheology, and definitions of falling and affinity. This is because cats are, of course, individuals, but they can change their body shape to fit the container.

The phases of matter can be roughly classified into three types: gas, liquid, and solid. A solid is one that maintains a constant volume and shape. A liquid is fluid like water, which has a constant volume, but changes its shape according to the container. A gas is something that spreads to fill its volume, like oxygen or helium. Obviously, cats are individuals, but they can be forced into glasses or vases, or spread to fit the shape of a box or bucket.

There is a discipline called rheology. This is a field to study how a material flows and deforms when a force is applied. For example, it is usually hard asphalt, but when weeds grow from the ground, it deforms and rises. In this way, even a seemingly hard solid can be deformed when a certain force is applied. Applying this definition of rheology to cats, a solid cat transforms into a square when placed in a square container and a round shape when placed in a round container. Moreover, since it fits tightly without any gaps, it is both a solid and a liquid.

Here is the definition of a fall where a cat can be called a liquid. When a liquid is thrown into the air, it falls while changing its shape, but cats also fall while curling, stretching, and rotating. Next, in terms of affinity with the surface of water, cats can be called liquid. The affinity between cats and the surface of the water means that when cats touch the surface of the water, it does not undulate very much. Cats may gently poke the surface of the water with their front legs to touch the hot water in the bath or the fish in the aquarium. Cats have the property of avoiding water. Therefore, it can be said that cats are as hydrophobic as oil.

These things are proven by the cats in my house. I have two pet cats, one male cat with average fluidity and the other female cat with fairly liquid fluidity. When I hug them, they stretch twice as long as they normally do. They can also fit snugly in a box that is half the size of their body.

In conclusion, the flexibility of cats varies from cat to cat, but all cats are certainly soft overall.Like my cats, cats are individual and are liquid whose body shape can be freely manipulated according to the container, based on the definitions of the three states of matter, rheology, and of falling and affinity.
