Which one is your favorite tool, a smartphone or a landline telephone?
I usually use a smartphone, and I do not have a landline telephone in my house.
Recently, a lot of people do not use a landline telephone, but I think that landline telephone has some good points.
First good point, if we call to an ambulance using a landline telephone, we do not need to tell our information on the location, because a landline telephone is able to get where it is there. So, if we were involved in a traffic accident, we did not need to tell the place clearly where the traffic accident happened. I think that it is so convenient function, because if we do not know well about a land, a policeman and ambulance attendant understand the place where we are.
Second good point, if people have a landline telephone, they can communicate with using it. When people who do not have a landline telephone, and also they do not know about their mobile phone number each other, they can not talk when a bad accident happened. I think that the situation is the worst. In my opinion, a lot of old people have a landline telephone, in other words, they do not use a smartphone so much, so if we have possible to talk with our grand parents and elderly people, I recommend to have a landline telephone.
Next, I am going to tell you why I like smartphone better than landline, and why it is convenient.
First, a smartphone is able to bring to outside, and we can call anywhere if there are not an electronic outlet there. However, a landline telephone is not able to bring to outside from our room, also we can not call anywhere without an outlet to plug.
Second, a landline telephone can not put applications. Today, a lot of schools, businesses, and friends or family use a smartphone to communicate each other. How do I communicate with them? I can talk on a smartphone through some applications. For example, Instagram, Twitter, Line, Face book and so on. Recent people, they are so busy. So when we get on a bus or train and walking, we have to contact each other many times. I do not have idea the situation bad thing or good thing, but if I did not have my smartphone, I could not live in the world of the present. If I have landline telephone only, I would be an trouble.
To be honest, I had thought that I do not need a landline telephone in my house. However, I got many good points of a landline telephone. If every people did not have a landline telephone, a lot of people would be upset. Because there are not place to rely on when a accident happened in a city.
I thought that if we use both of them, our life will be more comfortable.
