I love the Studio Ghibli work Spirited Away. Whenever I finish watching this movie, I always think like this, do I want to be the main character, Chihiro? I love the worldview of the movie and I want to go to the world in this movie. Have you ever wanted to be the main character in the Spirited Away? I've said that I like this world and I want to go the world so much, but I don’t want to be Chihiro. I have three reasons for this.
First of all, I don’t want to see my parents become pigs. If I actually saw the scene, I would cry on the spot, or I will faint because of shock. However, she tried to help them by calling for help without crying and faint.
Next, I can't work as agile as she does. When she first started working her workplace, she was said to be unfamiliar and dull, but as the days went by, she learned and did her job quickly. She was the first to notice the crisis of the mountain god and took the lead in her work. And she survived the crisis safely.
Lastly, I can't stand bravely like her without being afraid of anything. No matter how threatened by the Yubaba, Kaonashi swallowed her colleague, she wasn't scared. Moreover, she set out on a journey to help the dying Haku at all costs. She has a cool sense of justice trying to help him, even though it could be life-threatening. At the end, when she saw a lot of pigs in front of her and asked "Are your parents in this?" from Yubaba, she answered "They’re not in this". Her determination and courage to say she doesn't have her parents from a horde of pigs that are almost indistinguishable is awesome. I don't have the goodness, courage, and sense of justice that she does.
From these reasons, I don’t want to be Chihiro in this movie. This movie is made possible because the main character was Chihiro, so I want to go to the world of this movie as a tourist or as a god.
