Thank You Message Printed in Program
There are so many people to thank for their support of the Kumamoto General Union in its efforts to erase discrimination based upon nationality at the Prefectural University of Kumamoto, but we must begin somewhere.
First there are the many people who made today's concert a success. These people include all of the artists (too many to mention by name) who have performed out of charity - who have given of their time and their musical gifts not only to entertain, but to inspire.
The many also include all of the volunteer staff who contributed equally of their time and energy to ensure that every expense was spared, yet no corners were cut. These are students, faculty and members of the community, all of whom deserve the best of institutions free of discrimination.
Finally, there are members of the audience, the adults and the children who look forward to living - nay, who are striving together to
live in communities free of discrimination.
Therefore, on the behalf of the Coalition Against Discrimination by the Prefectural University of Kumamoto, we thank the many and welcome the generous support of all.
